Coyote Creek Ranch 707 447-6597
Coyote Creek Ranch provides a safe, friendly environment although the ranch is always open to guests we maintain a security gate for entrance and protection of your horses.

Chris Dahl and Colleen Robben, work hard to make the ranch a truly clean, safe and pleasant environment to spend quality time with both your horse and your human friends alike.

Chris Dahl has owned  the ranch since 1996. He has been involved in trail riding for the past 15 years and enjoys the special comradeships and the challenge of a good trail ride. Chris' background with horses comes from his own intuitive and compassionate nature, through his tenacity to obtain his personal objectives and correctness when encountering obstacles out on the trail and from his own direct personal experiences working with and riding horses.

Colleen enjoys managing a well kept, clean barn and takes pride in ownership and sharing the fruits of labor at Coyote Creek Ranch with others. We  purchase our hay products from Gene Robben a lifelong grower in Dixon, CA therefore we know we will always get quality feed for your horse.  Supplements are gladly given to your horse(s) on a basis you choose if needed.  Individual accommodation are made for each horse & their owner.

Here is Chris and Collen enjoying some down time.  Colleen Robben has been a resident of the area for 30 years, originally beginning her riding career in Woodside, California at Canada Stables at the age of 8. She has continued her riding for the past 50 years mostly focusing in the areas of Western Pleasure, Equitation, Trail and for the past ten years ranch work, cattle sorting and team penning. Her concern and care in partnering horse and rider has given her many years of gratification watching clients and friends learn shared respect between horse and rider. She is available to give private & semi-private lessons in horse purchasing, care and providing western riding lessons.

In addition to the amenities offered at the facility, Alexis is also available to counsel individuals who are interested in buying a horse or with a recently purchased horse. Sessions may include learning basic ground rules and appropriate tack to lessons or training your new horse.

Now, meet some of the friendly faces here at the Coyote Creek Ranch.  More photos and friendly faces are being posted everyday so check back to see who has been added. We have a great group of people here at CCR of various disciplines to a a variety of ages AND everyone get along  with willingness to help, sit & chat or join in on a trail ride.

Here, we have come to the end of the    "About Us"   trail for now and would like to add just one parting "thought for the day" to close our initial introductions.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR FRIENDS  It’s a comf’terbul feelin’ when you don’t have to careBout choosin’ your words or bein quite fairCause friends’ll just listen and let go on byThose words you don’t mean and not bat an eye It makes a friend happy to see your successThey’re proud o yer good side and forgive all the restAnd that ain’t so easy, all of the time, Sometimes I get crazy and seem to go blind! Yer friend just might have to take you on homeOr remind you sometime that you’re not aloneOr ever so gently pull you back to the groundWhen you think you can fly with no one around A hug or a shake, whichever seems rightIs the high point of given, I’ll tellya tonight All worldly riches and tributes of men Can’t hold a candle to the worth of a friend
