Shaun Glennan has recently relocated to the Vacaville area from "the land down under" and currently resides very near Coyote Creek Ranch on Pleasants Valley Rd. While Shaun does not operate exclusively out of the ranch itself, he is currently available for farrier services, horse training services, and either private or semi-private lessons here at the ranch by request.
Shaun is a professional rodeo cowboy, specializing in calf roping and bull-dogging, although he has also competed successfully in many of the other rodeo events such as bullriding, bronc riding as well. He earned the title of 1994 ABCRA Calf Roping Champion in his "homeland" of Australia, prior to moving to the US. He has also put on many professional rodeo events in his native homeland, and grew up in the heart of the equine related industry.
Shaun is quite personable with a dry wit and a great sense of humor, and inspires a sense of confidence and trust in both horse and handler alike. He has a calm, patient and engaging presence and communicates clearly and effectively in his work with clients, whether it is through his farrier work, his horse training practices and methods, or in his lesson work with students.
In short, Shaun is just an all round great guy and is a joy to work with and to simply be around! He's wonderful with both horses and with humans alike, and his farrier work is superb!
